A Brief Thought....

For those whose traveling days are gone, we can only hope that the Lord will consider their lives in proportion to the light in them and the contents of their hearts because His mercy is abundant. For us who are still here our responsibility is that much greater and the standard that much higher, to live lives worth being written of and to have names worth of being recorded in that book.

A Brief Thought....

Do not let anyone deceive you that the law is no longer relevant or that it is not as important. Believing so is to say that Christ’s sacrifice is of no value…”Faith and works go together. Believing and doing are intertwined…The Gospel does not weaken the demands of the law it exalts the law and makes it honorable.” We are incapable of doing anything without Christ. However, we must strive, sacrifice, give our all to do good works and keep the law not to obtain salvation but to bear the fruit that will glorify the father. Once we put forth all our efforts then Christ’s fills our shortcomings with his grace and covers us with the justice He deserves. 

A Brief Thought....

Many believe that the universe expanded from one specific point bringing all that we know into existence. The Bible calls this point the Word. For everything came into existence from the moment God spoke. That word is Christ…All things were made through Him.

God’s government is guided by his perfect law. As such, it is understandable that everything in this universe is governed by his established law. We can all agree that the known universe has been governed by the same physical laws and constants. Observations note that stars all orbit around the galaxy’s center of mass. One day we will be able to see the reality: “With undimmed vision [we will] gaze upon the glory of creation--suns and stars and systems, all in their appointed order circling the throne of Deity. Upon all things, from the least to the greatest, the Creator's name is written, and in all are the riches of His power displayed.”

A Brief Thought....

If you're going to be a follower, follow God's perfect law. If you're going to turn back, turn back to Christ's grace. If you're giving up, give up to the convincing power of the Holy Spirit.
