Partakers of the Divine Nature

How can we become partakers of the divine nature? Our goal every day should be to come to Jesus with an open heart. There is nothing that remains hidden from God yet He will go one step beyond what we allow Him to.

The last-day events occur with the purpose of awakening and helping us to understand that only a total dependency and a complete surrender to God will allow us to overcome. That is why the Lord has left at our disposal a powerful tool with which we can open our hearts to Him:
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12.
When we take this sword the Holy Spirit opens our hearts to Jesus. Initially, the sword will hurt while it pierces through the soul and spirit, but as it begins to do its job, the person will receive new strength. Similarly, the trials and tribulations of these days will hurt initially. But the refreshing latter rain will revive our hope in the soon return of Christ and focus our thoughts in heaven where we will enjoy the greatest privileges imaginable. At the same time it removes the impurities in our hearts and replaces it with Jesus and his love as the central theme of life. That is how we can become partakers of the divine nature. The apostle Peter explains:
As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.

For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1:3-11.
Become partakers in the divine nature each day and assure an entrance into the kingdom of heaven through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior!

JESUS IS COMING!
