God's Love

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.* 1
I watch as some deny the existence of God, and I wonder, how can a person sink so low? I am not against the use of logic and reasoning but often times this leads us to self-centeredness. Why do we need evidence about everything? We want to understand everything because we only depend on our own knowledge and cast away faith. But how can we explain the inexplicable?

The doubters do not like for us to simply say that God's thoughts are higher than our own and that it is the reason why we cannot provide more evidence. They want to reduce God and put Him in a laboratory to verify His existence. But we will never understand His origin. As much as we discuss and create new theories regarding the existence of the human race we always end up with the same question. How did it all begin?
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.*2
I will not attempt to convince those reading with complex arguments because the truth is that our understanding is limited. As humans, for example we can measure the speed of gravity, we can see the effects of gravity but we cannot explain its origin. Who established the law that allows an insignificant planet to remain in such perfect orbit in the midst of this infinite universe?
One look at the heavens on a starry night is enough to show us how insignificant we are. Human beings cannot even go further than the moon; it would take us years to reach the closest star.
Let us awaken to the reality concerning God, He is eternal and through Him everything exists. It does not take complicated theories or years of study in order to experience what God can do in our lives.

If this life were all that humans beings had, with so much evil, so much pain, so much suffering then what would be its purpose? Would you tell someone who was born in poverty, suffered throughout their entire life and died of hunger that this was all, that this was the best that they would ever know? Poor, miserable and unfortunate soul.

There is a world, far beyond our understanding. A world that is not limited by time, space or even death. And there is a God who created it all, who will very soon come back and create new heavens and a new earth. Do we wish to understand the mysteries of life?
Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name; Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.* 3
If I am wrong, what will I loose? I would have lived a life according to the principles of the Bible, trusting God's love, with a hope that transcends all human hope and would lay happily to rest. But if I am right, what will those who have doubted God and his creation have lost? They will have lost eternal life! They will have lost everything!

The biggest and most important decision that a person can make is to accept Jesus in their life. The apostle Paul understood this.
For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.* 4
What an extraordinary hope! We may come to understand the breadth and length and depth of his love which surpasses all understanding throughout all of eternity. This is the hope I rule my life under.
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.* 5
Even though we may suffer now, the Lord will make all things much more abundantly than we ask or think, in heaven!

JESUS IS COMING, AMEN, YES, COME LORD JESUS!
